Breakfast Menu

We cater for special diets and pride ourselves on the choice available to vegetarians. Gluten free products are always on offer as a matter of course.

Where possible produce is sourced locally; - for example our free range eggs come from a farm close to Shipston-on-Stour.

To begin:-

On the sideboard in the dining room we offer a selection of fruit juices and cereals, a fresh fruit salad, and Greek Style Yoghurt. There is also a choice of breads for you to toast. In addition, Porridge cooked the traditional Scottish way is available if ordered the night before. It is especially delicious when mixed with either our Apricot, or Ginger, or Lavender flavoured local specialist honeys.

Either a Traditional English Breakfast:-

The options available include eggs poached, fried or scrambled, fried bread, grilled tomato with a dash of Worcester sauce, bacon, hash brown, potato scone, the incomparable Bury black pudding, award winning sausages from A. W. Lashford and Son, a selection of vegetarian sausages, flat field mushroom, and Heinz baked beans.

Or try an Adelphi Speciality:-

Poached smoked haddock and poached egg.
Kippers.
Scrambled egg and smoked salmon with lemon and dill.
Warm croissant with a choice of either mushroom and bacon, or brie and bacon, or cream cheese and jam.
Waffle with homemade maple butter, topped with bacon or banana.
Staffordshire oatcake with bacon and maple butter.
Home made apple and raisin pancake with bacon and maple butter.
French toast with maple syrup.
Toasted bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon, or with cream cheese and Jam.
Boiled eggs with Toast soldiers.

And to drink we offer:-

A selection of coffees including freshly roasted and ground coffee produced by Monsoon Estates, the Stratford-upon-Avon Artisan Coffee Roaster. Our favourite is called Nicaraguan 'Elephant'. Decaffeinated ground coffee is also available.

A Selection of Teas: English Breakfast Tea, English Everyday Tea, Decaffeinated Tea, and Green Tea.
Or choose one of our Twinnings specialities: Earl Grey, Darjeeling, Pure Camomile, Lemon and Ginger, and Orange and Mango.

We also serve Suchard Hot Chocolate with cream.
